Presentation was recorded at the 14th annual meeting of the Northern California Institute for Bone Health on May 31, 2019 In Orinda, California. The conference was hosted by Elliot Schwartz, MD, CCD, CPD, Institute Director of NCIBH.

With a kind introduction by Elliot Schwartz, Professor Didier Hans, head of Research and Development in the Bone and Joint Department at the Center of Bone Disease of Lausanne University Hospital gave an informative presentation about Trabecular Bone Score (TBS) – from genesis to the use in daily clinical practice. Included in the presentation were in-depth answers to questions about TBS – what it is and how it works in fracture prediction, the use of TBS in secondary osteoporosis, TBS’s role in patient monitoring, and the use of TBS in seven main steps and much more.
