Over 20 years of experience in the field of osteoporosis, Didier Hans is specialized in diagnostic techniques and improvements in the management of osteoporosis patients.
As a leader in this field, in addition to his technical skills and managerial competencies, he brings with him a network of renowned international experts.
Having joined the board early in 2006, he accepted the presidency in June 2009, and has spurred the tremendous growth of Medimaps ever since. Didier Hans is also holding an academic position as head of Research & Development, Center for Bone Diseases, University Hospital, Lausanne (CH) and is past President of ISCD and co-founder of Synarc Inc (USA). As a current Chairman and CSO of Medimaps and Ascendys his philosophy can be expressed as “To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe.” Anatole France. .
Dr. Astrid Bardelaye
After her PhD in Organic Chemistry, Astrid joined an Oxford biopharmaceutical company, Glycoform, where she worked in the R&D team. Their research programs were based on a patented technology in expression, modification and conjugation to produce synthetic glycoproteins that improve patient’s lives.
In 2012 Astrid relocated and joined Medimaps in Geneva. She took this opportunity to enhance her knowledge in the fields of administration, accounting, finance, legal and human resources. Astrid’s strong scientific background combined with her good business administration skills make her a great fit to manage the administration and finance department of Medimaps..
Christophe has gained over 15 years’ executive R&D experience in Healthcare and Medical technology, initially in the French National Institute for Healthcare and Medical Research (Inserm, Paris, France), then in Microvision (Paris, France), a startup company developing innovative image processing technologies for research labs and industries, and later joining JRI (Paris, France) as head of the IT department.
Over the years, he has developed extensive experience of medical device development processes including quality management and regulatory compliance. At Microvision, he has managed an international research project involving both academic research institutes and med-tech companies. Under his leadership at JRI, the department widely renewed both the electron devices range and the IT solutions architectures. Christophe holds an Engineering degree from ENAC (France).
