Clinical Case

Clinical Case of “Patient A”:

Step 1: FRAX™ Risk of fracture at 10-year Calculation

Step 1 Case 1

Step 2: FRAX™ Adjusted for TBS Calculation

Case 1 Step 2

Conclusions:

Considering the “FRAX™ Adjusted for TBS”, and using the NOGG intervention threshold by age-group, a treatment shall be considered although Patient A initial FRAX™ risk was situated under the intervention threshold before adjustment for TBS.

TBS highlights an increased risk of fracture for Patient A and a shift from non-therapy to therapy group.

Clinical Case of “Patient B”:

Step 1: FRAX™ Risk of fracture at 10-year Calculation

clinical case b

Step 2: FRAX™ Adjusted for TBS Calculation

Case B Calculation

Conclusions:

Considering the “FRAX™ Adjusted for TBS”, and using the NOGG intervention threshold by age-group, a treatment is no more to be considered although Patient B initial FRAX™ risk was situated above the intervention threshold before adjustment for TBS.

TBS highlights a decreased risk of fracture for Patient B and a shift from therapy to non-therapy group.
