Abstract Note
In this retrospective analysis, the authors used an updated version of TBS algorithm (that accounts for regional soft tissue noise in DXA images) to evaluate the effects of Denosumab in a cohort of 279 postmenopausal women with osteoporosis. They observed that up to 10 years of Denosumab treatment significantly and progressively improved TBS assessment of bone microarchitecture independently of BMD.
